Party people

Our high school barkada held our annual Christmas party last night until early this morning ('got home right about the same time the misa de gallo started) in Bacoor, Cavite where my friend, Robert, lives.

We have agreed to block-off the 22nd of the month weeks before, but some still didn't make it for one reason or another, such as work, LBM, gimmick, and perhaps less important matters.

We decided to go potluck as this is a more economical way to party- no service charge, taxes, and tips to part our money with. While we were at it, I decided to cook my food contribution right in our venue. This way I was able to save on LPG and ingredients (ha!). Robert and I decided to do our grocery at the SuperMarket near their Executive Village.

Panic buying

People started trickling while we were still preparing the food. We commenced eating around 9 p.m., and we feasted on pasta, roasted chicken, pork with mushroom and baby corn (my contribution), and fruit salad for dessert.

We enjoyed the cool breeze outside the house over stories and updates on each other's lives. After a while we decided to begin the second part of the event, that is, drinking and singing!

We invited our Irish mate, Bailey, and a Mudslide for a change instead of our usual light buddy San Miguel.

We decided to call it a night (or morning) at four early this morning.

Merry Christmas!
