Father-daughter tandem, Duke and Lauren, bade the race goodbye at its third leg from Mongolia to Vietnam. Blame it on their late and serendipitous arrival at the "fowl" detour when they initially opted for "fuel." This consequently delayed their performance of the roadblock. They almost made it when boyfriends Tom and Terry (T & T) were penalized to wait for 30 minutes before leaping back to the pitstop, after violating the race's rule to not hitch a ride on motorcycles in Vietnam for safety reasons.
'Just an observation, the bicycle-riding-selling stunt of the roadblock became useless since the contestants where somehow mobbed by the by-standers to buy the flowers. The racers just ended up selling at the entrance of the shop where they replenished their supply.
