Guilty to the ugly

Inq7.net has been publishing a running account of the subic rape case, which involves "Nicole" a Filipino, and four American soldiers based here in the Philippines for the Visiting Forces Agreement. Finally, after a painstaking one-year wait, Nicole received justice as Judge Pozon decided on a guilty verdict on Smith while the three other soldiers were acquitted.

This might be a significant event between the Philippines and the U.S., where the latter has always (mis-?)treated the former through the years like its younger brother.
